How many degrees can a 500W cartridge heater heat?

The first thing to determine is: how much can a 500W cartridge heater heat? Does it refer to the temperature of the surface of the 500W cartridge heater or how much will the 500W cartridge heater heat the object to be heated? Because these are two different problems.


 


Question 1: What is the surface temperature of the 500W cartridge heater?


According to the calculation formula of surface load:


Power W/【Diameter(cm)*3.14*L(cm)】


Under still air medium, what is the surface temperature of the cartridge heater:


When the surface load reaches 1W/cm2, the surface temperature of the cartridge heater can reach 300 degrees;


When the surface load reaches 2W/cm2, the surface temperature of the cartridge heater can reach 420 degrees;


When the surface load reaches 3W/cm2, the surface temperature of the cartridge heater can reach 500 degrees;


When the surface load reaches 4W/cm2, the surface temperature of the cartridge heater can reach 580 degrees;


When the surface load reaches 5W/cm2, the surface temperature of the cartridge heater can reach 630 degrees;


When the surface load reaches 6W/cm2, the surface temperature of the cartridge heater can reach 680 degrees;


Question 2: How many degrees can a 500W single-head cartridge heater heat the object to be heated?


This is an unsolved problem because the heat loss in the process of heat conduction cannot be calculated, so how much the 500W ink cartridge heater can heat the object to be heated can only be obtained through experiments.
