Six characteristics of air heaters

Dec 15, 2020

The air heater is an electric heating device that mainly heats the gas flow. The heating element of the air heater is a stainless steel electric heating tube, and the inner cavity of the heater is equipped with multiple baffles (baffles) to guide the gas flow direction and extend the residence time of the gas in the inner cavity so that the gas is fully heated and the gas The heating is uniform and the heat exchange efficiency is improved. The heating element of the air heater is stainless steel heating tube, which is made of seamless steel pipe with electric heating wire, and the gap is filled with magnesium oxide powder with good thermal conductivity and insulation. When the current passes through the high-temperature resistance wire, the heat generated is diffused to the surface of the heating tube through the crystalline magnesium oxide powder, and then transferred to the heated air to achieve the purpose of heating.

Technical characteristics of the air heater:

1. It can heat the air to a very high temperature, up to 450℃, and the shell temperature is only about 50℃.

2. High efficiency: up to 0.9 or more.

3. The heating and cooling rate block can reach 10℃/S, and the adjustment is fast and stable. There will be no leading and lagging phenomenon of the controlled air temperature to make the temperature control drift indefinite, which is very suitable for automatic control.

4. Good mechanical properties: Because its heating element is made of special alloy material, it has better mechanical properties and strength than any heating element under the impact of high-pressure airflow. This is suitable for those who need to continuously heat the air for a long time. System and accessory tests are more advantageous.

5. When it does not violate the operating regulations, it is durable and has a service life of several decades.

6. Clean air and small size
