Introduction to heating tube terminology (2)

Dec 07, 2020

The heating tube is a metal tubular heating element. The heating tube uses a metal tube as a shell, an alloy electric heating wire as a heating element, and a lead wire (rod) at one or two ends. The metal tube is filled with a dense magnesium oxide powder insulating medium for fixing The heating element of the heating element.

7. Rated power of heating tube (KW)

The rated power of the heating tube refers to the input power of the heating tube specified in the redesign and marked on the heating tube shell.

8. Rated voltage of heating tube (V)

The rated voltage of the heating tube refers to the voltage connected to the heating tube specified in the redesign and marked on the heating tube shell.

9. Working voltage of heating tube (V)

For a single heating tube connected to the power supply, the working voltage of the heating tube refers to the voltage connected to the element specified in the design, that is, the rated voltage.

For a group of heating tubes connected in series to the power supply, the working voltage of the heating tube refers to the voltage connected to this group of heating tubes specified in the design.

10. Working temperature of the heating tube (℃)

The working temperature of the heating tube refers to the average temperature of the heating surface of the heating tube under the conditions of rated power and full heating.

11. The highest temperature of the heating tube (℃)

The maximum temperature of the heating tube refers to the temperature of the highest temperature point on the heating length of the heating tube under the condition of 1.27 times the rated power and full heating.
