Causes of electric heating tube explosion

Mar 11, 2021

The reasons for the explosion of the electric heating tube are as follows:

1: The electric heating tube exploded, it may be severely damp. After the magnesium oxide powder is seriously damp, it is heated by electricity, and the water rapidly vaporizes and expands, and the metal pipe may burst when the pressure is high.

2: The electric heating tube exploded, it may be an internal short circuit. Due to the short circuit in the electric heating tube, the current is very large and high temperature is generated instantly. If it is inserted in a liquid, the liquid penetrates into the electric heating tube before the electric heating tube is short-circuited, and vaporizes at high temperature, and explodes. The explosion of an electric heating tube is usually caused by corrosion of the tube body and liquid infiltration.

3: The tungsten wire in the heating tube is spring-shaped, and the tube is isolated by heat-resistant insulating powder material. Once the heating wire is broken, there is a resilience to bounce the insulating powder away from its original position, and the heating wire will contact the iron tube. The equipment is generally connected If there is a ground wire or contact with the ground, it will be a short circuit or a partial short circuit if the electric heating tube is damaged.
