Which is better, an electric heating tube or an electric heating wire?

The heating tube is made by bending the heating wire into a spring shape according to the required resistance, placing it in the center of the empty metal tube, and then filling the gap between the heating wire and the tube wall with magnesium oxide powder, and finally sealing. In this way, the electric heating tube is completed.

Our more common ones are iron-chromium-aluminum wire and nickel-chromium wire, and then choose the grade and wire diameter according to different use environments. Electric heating wires are often used in closed electric heating vessels such as electric kilns and drying boxes.
The difference between electric heating wire and electric heating tube
1: Electric heating wire is generally used in enclosed spaces because the surface of the heating wire is charged when the heating wire is energized and heated.
2: The electric heating tube can normally be used in any electric heating environment (air or liquid) because it is tightly filled with magnesium oxide powder between the heating wire and the heating tube shell, so the surface of the electric heating tube is not conductive.
Both cost issues:
The electric heating wire is closely related to the electric heating tube. From the manufacturing process of the electric heating tube above, we can see that the heating wire is the raw material of the electric heating tube, so the heating wire is lower in cost than the electric heating tube.
Comparison of the electric heating tube and electric heating wire:
1: The real heart of the electric heating tube is the electric heating wire placed inside the heating tube. The inside of the electric heating tube is filled with insulating material between the heating wire and the wall of the metal tube, so the electric heating tube can heat conductors and non-conductors.
2: The electric heating wire uses a high-resistance alloy wire, called an electric heating alloy. The commonly used electric heating wire generally has a resistance of a few ohms to tens of ohms per meter. Because the electric heating wire is conductive, when the bare electric heating wire is used for direct heating, only insulating things such as air can be heated. At least, insulation measures such as ceramics or a certain air gap should be used to separate the conductor from the conductor.
