Tubular heating elements usually consist of a coil of resistance heating alloy wire, usually NiCr ends connected to a terminal pin and from metal electrical insulation tubes, stainless steel alloys such as inco nickel-chromium stainless steel or copper, through ceramic insulation material, electrofused magnesium oxide powder.
