The difference between embedded heating and bare air dry heating on the life of heating tube

Electric heating tube can be divided into embedded heating and exposed air dry heating in the working environment for dry heating.

So what's the difference between these two heating methods?

Does it affect the design of the heating tube?

Today I would like to tell you:

★ Core differences: heat transfer efficiency is not the same

(1) Embedded heating electric heat pipe, because it is embedded in a hole, its surface heat is easy to be absorbed by the mold or module, then embedded heating environment, the heat transfer effect of electric heat pipe is very fast.

(2) bare air dry heating electric heat pipe, because the air on the electric heating tube heat transfer is an obstacle, so bare air dry heating environment, electric heat pipe heat transfer effect is very poor.

★ Influence on the design of heating tube:

As the heat transfer efficiency is different, the surface load design of electric heating tube is different.

The surface load design of the electric heat pipe with embedded heating can be larger than that of the heating rod heated by dry burning with bare air.

★ The service life of electric heating tube under 2 working environments is different:

The service life of the electric heat pipe with embedded heating is longer than that of the electric heat pipe with dry heating exposed in the air, but it is not absolute, the specific service life should be viewed according to the actual size and power.
